I’m an innovator and trusted collaborator who knows how to move forward in the gray and who can take the lead or do whatever needs to be done to build great things and have some fun while doing it. Let’s make something happen!

I’ve worked with hundreds of clients across dozens of industries.
Things I do extremely well:
What does all that broad experience and deep expertise mean for you?
X-ray vision for seeing patterns and connections allows me to understand hidden opportunities and identify the landmines. A big bag of tricks, tools and ways in to get to what’s most important (the it) and a clear path forward. The skills to lead, be it teams, departments or full initiatives. And do it efficiently and productively, all with a little playfulness mixed in. Executional know-how with high degrees of craft, judgment and perseverance to break through the noise - often turning the ordinary into something truly interesting.
Introduced leadership team concepts that changed how departments work together. Developed fun, powerful tools for quickly developing effective work. Mentored a generation of Creative leaders.
Created a Hollywood reality show for an electric utility. Turned an agriculture brand into a fashion brand. Made workplace safety exciting. Re-framed the military from last resort, to career ambition.

Chicago in the 1970s was a crucible of design innovation —and the birthplace of Design Group 3 DG3 was founded on a bold principle: at its core, design is a method of thinking that drives change. And while great design is often simple, its foundation requires clarity of the challenge, an understanding of constraints, and deep empathy for the audience. From commerce to culture, DG3 relentlessly bridged creativity and connection, pioneering technologies that reinvented conventions and pushed the limits of what was possible—delivering what clients truly needed. In many ways, the world hasn’t changed much. The ambition behind DG3 remains as vital today as ever—a testament to what design can and should be, now and in the future.

Free wisdom:
Let’s make something happen.
Great work begins with great questions. The best ways to unlock opportunities are constantly evolving. Find the “it” and so many things fall into place. Fear is toxic to powerful ideas. Breakthrough work is a team sport.
